We need your help

We believe we have created the ultimate barefoot shoe.

Created originally for Gaucho Ninja's bespoke customers we are now ready to launch the concept under the brand name Pals.

--update--

Dear Barefoot Pal Supporters,

We wanted to write to you all in deep gratitude for your patience and support of our new offering Barefoot Pals. We realise that it has been several weeks since many of you placed your pre-order and you are keen to receive your shoes. We also realise that our original delivery estimate has not been fulfilled and for this we offer our sincere apologies. We therefore wanted to update you on the Pals progress and explain a little more about the process. Thank you so much for being part of this new journey with us.

Firstly, we wished to explain that we needed to change the factory where our shoes are made as although the shoes appear simple, this simplicity of feeling is complex to achieve. Our new factory is working to the very highest standards of craftsmanship and we thought it would be interesting to share some information about the factory with you. Based in Banglesdesh the factory has been audited by the amfori BSCI, an international organisation who like us believe that treating people and the planet well, is as important as revenue. amfori BSCI offer holistic trade, social and environment services for business and completed an audit of our Banglasdesh factoryacross a wide range of criteria such as fair wages and safe working conditions. Our factory achieved an outstanding rating of 9/10. We are very proud of what the factory represents and is achieving for us.

As a small start up we are aware that our capacity is more limited than larger organisations. We are constantly striving to improve; we aim to produce beautiful products, offer honest and caring customer service and promote ethical working business practices.

Thank you for being part of our story. We are expecting our first shipment of Pals to be delivered and despatched to our customers around the world by the middle of December. We are so excited to fulfil our first Pals chapter. We are also looking forward to the future; to offering more colours next year and possibly new designs that offer the same simple but beautiful barefoot feeling.

With gratitude and warm regards

Lisandro and the Barefoot Pals team
